5 minutes before the class, send to Admin:
“I’m ready for my 8:00 PM KT class”
5 minutes before the class (to students):
“Good evening, Sue, we will start in a few minutes”
A minute or at the exact time of the class (to student): “I will call now”
After 2-3 rings and a student doesn’t answer, send a message again like (to student):
“Please call me if you’re available for today’s class, tried to call you but your Skype was just ringing / not ringing” “Please call me if you’re available for today’s class, tried to call you but your Skype decline my call”
After waiting time and the student did not send a message or call you (student is already considered absent):
“Sue, our waiting time is finished. You are considered absent today. See you tomorrow / Monday and take care / have a great day/ weekend”
If a student is present, no need to send a message after the class, but if a student is absent you need to notify the admin about it, just send a short message:
“8:00 PM KT student is absent, GS (Google sheet) already updated”
If you want to remind that it’s a holiday tomorrow
Sue, this is to remind you that there is no class tomorrow because of Independence Day (Philippine Holiday). See you on Tuesday.
When there is an electricity outage/internet connection problem/ disaster happens:
“Sue, I’m sorry our line was cut because of my internet connection problem/ electricity outage. Let’s just extend tomorrow.”
If you did not have a class because of the problem
“Let’s add today’s lesson to our make-up class.”
